Addiction & Recovery

I am proud to say today that I am sober since April 2022.

16 years ago I’d hit a point in my life where I wanted to give in. I was 29 years old and sharing a bedroom with my 4-year-old son at my mother's house. Waking up began to be a monotonous monolog consisting of everything I hated about myself and my life. My act to be normal was becoming a dismal failure.

One day I begged whoever was out there in this vast universe of ours for help.

The following day I found an ad in the newspaper saying “All of life comes to me with ease joy and glory.” I didn’t realize at the time but those few words were about to change my life forever. It was then I found Access Consciousness.

With that, I created a phenomenal life, a tradie who had made it onto the world stage travelling the world first class, speaking to large audiences, and changing lives. I could go on....

BUT my rock bottom was still yet to come...

In recent years I came to realise I am an alcoholic, I always have been but it was something that I had no desire to expose to myself let alone the world. After many attempts made in vain to stop and a stint in rehab, in 2022 I had a relapse that probably should go down in the record books.

I had to turn my life around, it was create or die...

On my journey of sobriety what I came to realise was:

There's no one else on the planet like you.

Not many have the courage that you do to choose a life that creates more.

And no one can go on the journey of you but you... But it does not mean you have to do it alone.

Today, I am a worldwide speaker, and best-selling author facilitating workshops and private sessions that empower others to know they are not wrong, that anything is possible, and that they are just one choice away from change. I am living proof!

Sobriety…
It is defined as “the state of being sober”, but for me, not drinking has been one of the easiest parts of discovering what that “word”, would become to mean to me.
